It came with XP Media Center Edition 2005. I want to install Vista on the second drive. I don't want to dual boot or overlay the OS since I understand there are many problems doing I just got an upgrade to Vista Home Premium kit from HP and I'm not sure how to use it or if I should. I had a W2k sp4 OS which crashed - failed to boot after attempting to fix Adobe program. With help from Dell I've wiped the c: clean & reformatted. upgrade to XP or Vista before it's too late! My suggestion was the run the manufacturer's diagnostic on the drive... looks like you never did that.
